Beast Mastery and Ursan Blessing
Hey y'all.
I've developed quite a potent blend of skills since GWEN came out, and here's something I love to use.
Ursan Blessing
[card]distracting shot[/card]
[card]poisonous bite[/card]
[card]scavenger strike[/card]
[card]savage pounce[/card]
[card]disrupting lunge[/card]
[card]comfort animal[/card]
[card]charm animal[/card]
16 Beast Mastery
13 Expertise
This allows you to use the powerful skills of Ursan Blessing, while having a pet dealing moderate/heavy damage outside of the Blessing. It's a fun break from marksman . Enjoy.

Cool thinkin, if you run one or both call skills they would last even while you were in bear form.

Great idea! I'll have to try that out. Feral aggression looks good.

So, Mickey... you got me thinking... (I know, dangerous )
here's what I ended up with, the Ursan Trapper:
[wiki]Ursan Blessing[/wiki][skill]Serpent's Quickness[/skill][skill]Dust Trap[/skill][skill]Barbed Trap[/skill][skill]Tripwire[/skill][skill]Flame Trap[/skill][skill]Lightning Reflexes[/skill][skill]Rebirth[/skill]
Of course with lotsa points in WS and expertise. Lay down some traps and draw onto them, then commence to smack down. Alternatively, this may be good enough to solo... testing and probable skill swaps en route. Alternatively, I really like [wiki]Dwarven Stability[/wiki] instead of LR for SQ.

I'm doing most of the dungeons / Masters Quests with my R/Rt Ursan Spirit Lord at the moment
[Ursan Blessing[skill]Pain[/skill][skill]Bloodsong[/skill][Vampirism][Agony][skill]Charm Animal[/skill][skill]Revive Animal[/skill][skill]Edge of Extinction[/skill]
Setup my spirits , pin my party in the right locations then Bear form and lure as many little red dots into the kill zone

well the trapping worked for clearng uw no problem.
ended up running 3 traps(dust, barbed and flame), whirling, sq, troll, rebirth and Ursan. Normally Id replace the troll with dwarven stability, but we had 2 trappers.
it was a full on ursan group btw

Why Scavenger Strike? I mean, I know foe will be poisoned and all but Brutal Strike deals much more damage for the energy, for a just-as-obtainable requirement.

i was trying out the UB trapper in UW today. Had to leave early, but once i got the hang of it...it worked. basically lay down traps, pull, and as they are being hit by traps finish them off.
UB
barbed trap
dust trap
piercing trap
flametrap
QZ
SQ
Energizing wind

If you use tripwire instead of piecring they fall down real good.
